US COINS… gold coins, which one is least expensive?

for a solid gold coin in the 2008 year. i have found it to be the 1/10 oz. gold buffalo for $129...also i am looking to buy my first solid gold coin, should i look at low grade gold eagles, or what can you suggest??? appreciate all your help.
