Is the US Mint making 2009 coins for general circulation?

Since the end of 2008 the Hawaiian state quarter being the last of the US state series, I've not seen any 2009 coins of US mintage.
I've heard they're gonna mint four different designs of pennies commemorating Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday and rumors of minting quarters in 2009 commemorating Washington DC and US territories.
Thus far I've not seen any 2009 coins in circulation.
