My husband's aunt died recently & we found a hoard of old coins in jars all over her house. There are alot of halves, quarters & dimes - Walking Liberty, Ben Franklin, Kennedy, Mercury, Roosevelt and a few Eisenhoiwer dollars. How do I know which ones are silver and what the silver content is? I've done some research on coins but I am not a collector. I want to categorize the coins and make some "starter sets" for my grandchildren so any help would be GREATLY appreciated for my little "future coin collectors".
Are all the coins before 1964 silver and aren't some 40% and some 90% and how do I know which are which? I ask alot of questions but when I hand them over later I want to be sure each collection is as equal as I can get them. on line pharmacy Thanks again!

i thought all the coins would say 1976 on them. could this be an error and if so what is ther worth. They are in a sealed plastic case marked packeged by u.s. mint. All the coins are marked with the S. The top three coins Eiseinerhower dollar, Kennedy half dollar and Washington quarter are all dated 1776-1976 and the nickel dime and penny are all dated 1975. I thought they should all be dated 1976.

I have a dime that was only printed about 1/2 way (year not present on it) and I also have a nickel that only printed about half, but 1999 did print on it. Any idea what the value for both would be?
Lastly, I have two completely blank dimes that came in the new roll of dimes from the bank. Would the blanks have any value? Thank you!
