Investment quality coins do not go into folders, albums maybe. Coins do not get very much protection in a coin collecting folders and if you push them in with a finger or thumb you leave a finger print on them plus oils from your body. One must be able to have a few bucks to spend if one does silver dollars. Liberty nickels have been dead for a long time but there are a couple that are very expensive. Lincoln wheat cents also has some coins that are kind of pricey. Lincoln wheat cents are always a good investment in grades very fine and above. I have found over the years to collect what I want and never worry about the investment part and I have done quite well. I have also been collecting for a long time so I have most of the denominations, but only a few complete sets. As for silver dollars I have a date set that is one dollar of each year a complete set is out of the question due to the rarity of some of the coins. I do have all the mints in the set and a few are quite scarce. You can try to put together a type set of 20th century coins in the highest grade that you can afford, that set will be worth more someday. You can also see what is out there you like.
